SaaS platform for organizing sports tournaments — built from scratch as my own product
México has thousands of local sports leagues — football, basketball, volleyball — that run entirely without software. Organizers manage everything manually: fixtures on paper, standings on WhatsApp, rosters by message. There is no affordable, Spanish-language product built for this market. Tornea is being built to fill that gap.
Leagues organize everything through WhatsApp groups — fixtures, results, complaints, standings. No centralized system, constant confusion and disputes.
Standings calculated manually and posted as images on social media. Any error means recalculating everything. No automatic tracking of goals or cards.
Teams submit rosters on paper or by message without verification. Player eligibility is not validated and there is no document history for disputes.
